St George 2010
We went to St. George as a family for a few days. It was HOT. It had been in the 60s and 70s in Idaho. When we hit Southern Utah, the thermometer said 105. We were camping at Snow Canyon, but it was still pretty hot during the day, so we tried to find things to do inside. We hiked up some narrows in the canyon; we visited the St. George Temple; and we found the city water park where the kids had a blast getting wet.
One of the evenings, we went to see Tarzan the musical at the Tuacahn Ampitheater. We weren't allowed to take pictures, so these are theirs. It was pretty fantastic. Tarzan is not my favorite musical, but they did a great job. The gorillas and Tarzan were swinging on ropes all the time. They built a waterfall just for the boat scene. The kids really loved it (even Andi was managable).
